The Landespolizeigruppe General Göring was established in January 1934. In 1935, Göring was appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Luftwaffe. Since he wished to retain control over his “favorite unit,” it was transferred to the Luftwaffe in September 1935 and redesignated Regiment General Göring.

Early metal thread hand-embroidered example on dark green base. Worn piece, still sewn together, minor moth damage, condition 2-. A very rare cuff title.
