Verso with data on Petereit (1919 - 1942) and Friedrich Dornbusch. Max-Eugen Petereit fell on September 29, 1942 in the defensive battle at Neva, south of Lake Ladoga. On October 7, 1942, he was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross 1939. Friedrich Dornbusch, born 1879, German painter and graphic artist, member of the Reich Chamber of Culture with number “M 8877”, initially worked on landscape paintings, later portraits, and was known for treating visionary subjects such as visits from the beyond or dances of death.
