1913. 1 liter ceramic stein with pewter lid and richly decorated paintwork. Height approx. 38.3 cm. The flag of the figure on the lid is missing, the lid somewhat loose. Condition 2-.

The S.M.S. Posen was a dreadnought battleship of the Nassau-class and was commissioned in 1910. She participated in numerous operations during World War I.

Plate depicting the schooner S.M.S. Ayesha and the portrait of Kapitänleutnant Hellmuth v. Mücke, blue-gray on white, minor firing defects in the glaze (small brown spots), verso with manufacturer's mark "Fraureuth Unterglasur", 2nd quality, otherwise undamaged, rare. Condition 2

With the commandeered schooner, approximately 36 survivors of the destroyed S.M.S. Emden escaped capture by the British.

The SMS Drache was a German warship built and operated by the Imperial German Navy as an artillery tender, transferred in this capacity to the Reichsmarine, and finally converted by the Kriegsmarine into an artillery training vessel, serving as such until her sinking in 1945.

The 2. Matrosen-Regiment (2nd Sailors Regiment) belonged to the 2. Marine-Brigade (2nd Naval Brigade) of the 1. Marine-Division (1st Naval Division) of the Flandern-Korps (Flanders Corps).

The flagship of the Second Admiral of the Squadron was the "Ägir". This older vessel was reactivated in 1914. The squadron was commanded by Rear Admiral Ehler Behring. He was detached as “Detached Admiral” to the eastern Baltic Sea. The position of Second Admiral was not filled again.

Barrier Command “Borkum” was responsible for the defense of the Ems estuary approach.

As counterpart to the Army, discharged naval personnel were transferred to the Reserve, later to the Naval Defense I. Levy, and still later to the Naval Defense II. Levy. At the outbreak of war, Naval Defense Divisions of 4 companies each were formed in the Baltic Sea area (I.) and North Sea area (II.).

The 3rd Squadron with the flagship "Prinzregent Luitpold" included some of the most modern battleships, including the "Kaiser" and "Kaiserin"

The passenger ship Rügen, commissioned only in 1914, was converted into an auxiliary minelayer at the outbreak of war. During World War II, the ship served as a hospital ship. In 1946, she was handed over to the Soviet Union as a reparation payment.

The 2. Marine-Infanterie-Regiment belonged to the 3rd Division of the Marinekorps Flandern.

The Darranlage Kiel was a drying facility at the Kiel fish market for drying fish waste to produce fish meal.

Circa 1914. Brass housing with remains of the original black lacquer finish, on the hinge ring the manufacturer, difficult to read “Emil [Busch Rathenow]” as well as the model and magnification “Mod. 09 3 1/2 Verg”, on the left objective mounting beautiful chamber acceptance mark “Imperial Crown” over “M”, on the right the number “7858”. The optics clear, the diopter rings movable, without reticle plate. With the original carrying strap. Typical signs of use, in untouched original condition. The typical service binoculars of a U-boat commander.

Colored gouache drawing on paper. Depiction of the Imperial Yacht "Hohenzollern" with the presence standard of the Kaiser and Kaiserin and set signal flags, departing from Kiel in convoy with additional battleships. Signed lower left "Walter Zeeden", handwritten inscription on the mat "Imperial Yacht Hohenzollern departs Kiel with the maneuver squadron, 1894." Newly framed, dimensions with frame 35 x 42 cm.

The S.M.S. Blitz was a small cruiser commissioned in 1883 and was not struck from the naval register until 1921.

S.M.S. Preussen was a pre-dreadnought battleship of the Braunschweig class of the Imperial German Navy.
Preußen served as flagship of the II. Squadron of the High Seas Fleet during World War I; first under Vice Admiral Reinhard Scheer, then under Rear Admiral Franz Mauve. She did not participate in the Battle of Jutland.

After the end of the war, the battleship was taken over by the Reichsmarine.

Printed on both sides, with inscription “1 Div. St. No 2.”,  dimensions approximately 87 x 142 cm. Repair patches, holes, condition 2-.
