Silver version, the overlays riveted in 8 places, reverse marked with 925 and the AWS hallmark, the red enamel damaged!

This piece is a particularly fine German manufacture by the firm Meybauer, Berlin for a German officer, manufactured in the 1920s. The oak leaf/laurel wreath in gilt base metal execution, the winged wing and the ribbon with the year number tinted in black. Reverse side of the star with the hallmark punch of the firm Meybauer, on broad pin. Lightly worn in very fine condition.

Extremely rare, one of the few originals.

Membership badge

Manufactured by the Ottoman Mint [Darphâne-i Âmire] in Constantinople during the reign of Mehmed V Reşad (1844-1918, reigned from 1909), silver partially set with brilliants, partially gilt, medallion field gold, enameled, with ribbon. Approx. 83x63 mm.

with name engraving on edge, “Flower”. Condition 2.
