Denmark Commemorative Cross for Danish Volunteers in the Finnish Winter War 1939-40

First model manufactured in Finland, silver, finely enameled, reverse stamped with jeweler's hallmarks and silver fineness mark 813H and hallmark L 6 from 1940, screw disc marked O.Y. Hopeatakomo. Excellent undamaged condition.
Many of the Danish volunteers subsequently served as volunteers in the Waffen-SS; wearing this decoration on the German uniform was expressly permitted.
