Location Traunstein / Bad Reichenhall, circa 1939. The service tunic is an elegant privately-purchased piece, manufactured from SA-brown gabardine cloth, complete with all insignia. The collar patches in light blue for SA-Gruppe Hochland, machine-sewn. Sewn-in shoulder boards for leaders of the SA Jägerstandarten from Sturmbannführer to Standartenführer, the cloth base in dark green for the Jägerstandarten, under the left shoulder board with RZM paper label. The buttons in nickel finish. On the left upper arm with the heavy armband made of wool with silk rep overlay, machine-sewn, on the sleeve cuff with the cuff title “Dietrich Eckart” hand-sewn. The sleeve cuffs with silver tradition piping for long-serving SA men with entry into service in 1929. On the chest loops for a small medal bar and 2 pin badges. Interior with SA olive-green lining. Lightly worn piece, a few minor moth damages, condition 2.
All parts originally sewn, in untouched original condition. Service tunics for SA leaders are very rarely found.
