Garrison Dessau, circa 1910. Elegant leather helmet, complete with all fittings. The eagle with bandeau “Mit Gott für Fuerst und Vaterland” (With God for Prince and Fatherland), on the breast with silver-plated star and applied Anhalt coat of arms, for the ensign in enlisted men's pattern with closed crown. Flat scale chin chains on rosettes, complete with both cockades, these for the ensign in enlisted men's pattern. The tall spike is removable. Interior with brown sweatband leather, the silk lining is missing. Size 56. Lightly worn, condition 2.
