Saxony Weimar Eisenach Grand Ducal Saxon House Order of Vigilance or of the White Falcon Knight's Cross 1st Class

Knight's Cross 1st Class. Fine early manufacture in gold, finely enameled on both sides, complete with original triangular ribbon. Only very lightly worn, condition 2+.
The Knight's Cross 1st Class without swords was awarded approximately 700 times.
Known early manufacturers of the order insignia were the firms Bury, Müller & Jünger of Hanau, later Bury & Leonhardt, Hanau, Wilhelm Wirsing. From 1891 the manufacturer was Th. Müller, Court Jeweler & Order Manufactory of Weimar.
