RAD - Reichsarbeitsdienst

Chamber piece circa 1944. Brown wool cloth, front with woven RAD cap insignia. Interior brown lining, with Reich factory number (Reichsbetriebsnummer), size marking "57" and owner's name "Steiner B. 2/598". Small patched areas and moth damage, condition 2-.

Chamber piece. RAD brown wool cloth, complete with national emblem in fine zinc, ventilation eyelets on sides. Interior with brown lining, manufacturer marking “R.A.D.B.A.Bn.” and stamp “Abt. 3/52” (= Ferdinandstein). Size 54. Condition 2.

Elegant execution. The cap made of RAD olive-brown gabardine, piped around with silver cord, metal thread hand-embroidered insignia on dark brown hatband, two ventilation holes on each side. Interior with light brown sweatband leather, celluloid diamond removed, size approximately 67. Lightly worn, condition 2.

Circa 1942, field cap in green herringbone twill, front with woven RAD cap insignia for enlisted men. Interior with brown lining bearing Reichsbetriebsnummer, size 57. Condition 2.

circa 1938. Elegant execution in stiffened felt cloth, trimmed throughout with gold piping, front with hand-embroidered RAD emblem in gold metallic thread on dark brown hatband, two ventilation eyelets on each side. Interior with light brown sweatband leather, light silk lining with maker “Mayser, Hutmacher seit 1800”. Size approximately 55. Unworn, interior still with original cardboard ring (broken) from maker with size marking "55", condition 2+.
