Personal property piece, manufactured in Wien circa 1939. Visor cap in high elegant saddle form, brown cap band, light gray piping, complete with police eagle for officers 2nd pattern in aluminum and cockade. Interior with light brown sweatband, light silk lining with celluloid diamond and maker's marking "Marie Stana & Sohn Spezial-Uniform-Mützen-Erzeugung Wien V, Rainergasse 34", size 56. Lightly worn, condition 2.

Made of police cloth, with rabbit fur, aluminum police emblem, as well as aluminum loops, interior with RB number, size approximately 58. Condition 2.

field gray original paint finish, swastika shield on right side approximately 60 percent intact and police eagle on left side 80% preserved. The helmet shell is stamped internally at the neck with “N215” and on the side with “Q66”. Interior features metal ring. Inner liner missing. Condition 2.

Brown fiber shako with green cloth cover, complete with national eagle and field insignia in aluminum. Interior brown sweatband leather, no maker's marking in crown, size approximately 55. Wear marks on crown. Condition 2.

Black fiber shako with green cloth cover, national eagle insignia in aluminum, leather chinstrap with aluminum fittings. Interior brown sweatband, maker's mark “Hans Römer Echt Fiber Tschako Neu - Ulm Donau”, size approximately 58. Condition 2.

This is a visor cap which was adopted in 1933 by the Preußische Landespolizei. Dark green gabardine visor cap with blue cap band and piping, with Reich cockade, Prussian cockade and patent leather chinstrap. Short cord braided green/silver. Interior brown sweatband, the celluloid diamond with maker mark. Size 60. Lightly worn piece in good condition, very rare, as the visor cap was discontinued in 1936.

Field-gray gabardine cloth, silver piping, national eagle in Bevo metal-thread woven execution. Interior with silk lining, leather sweatband, maker marking “Adolf Ludwig”, size marking “55”. Condition 2.

Interior with light brown sweatband with “blind” embossed maker “Erel Patent Stirnschutz...”, yellow silk lining with celluloid diamond and manufacturer marking “Erel Berlin Sonderklasse Extra”, with owner label “Franz Schöpf Hptw. d. Gend.”, size 59. Clearly worn, light moth damage at edge of sweatband, otherwise condition 2.

The owner received this visor cap as Hauptwachtmeister of the Gendarmerie, and was subsequently promoted to officer rank over the years.

circa 1939. Black fiberglass helmet with continuous black leather ring bead, front-mounted police eagle in aluminum, side black ventilation grilles. Complete with black leather liner and chin strap. In contrast to the protective helmet for motorcyclists, the protective helmet for armored vehicle crews has no ear protection. Interior with sewn-in manufacturer's label “Robert Lubstein ges. gesch. Erel Sonderklasse, Berlin NW 24”, size 58. Only minimal wear, condition 2+.
Extremely rare, in over 35 years of business the first time we have offered this item, we are aware of only 2 other examples worldwide.

circa 1938. This is a lightweight steel variant. The early apple-green original paint approximately 85% intact, on the right side the swastika shield approximately 95% present and on the left the police eagle shield approximately 80% present. Complete with field-gray leather liner, size approximately 56, the chinstrap with clip fastener. The helmet shell interior right side stamped “Edelstahl”. At the left rivet the steel helmet has a small crack, condition 2.

Cover made of mottled fabric, similar to the covers for Pickelhauben of the Imperial Army, stamp on the neck no longer legible, condition 2-.
