With power connection and in original case. Aluminum plate riveted to the side of the instrument: “Bubble Octant with Averaging Device, Type: C. Plath - De Te We, Device No. 127-134 B-1, Serial No. 203582, Requisition No. Fl. 23750, Manufacturer De Te We”. Inside the case lid with riveted plate bearing brief operating instructions, the wooden case painted Luftwaffe gray on the exterior, side marked “Device No: 127-134 B”. Condition 2+.

Observation binocular with original gray-blue paint finish, binocular range finder with manufacturer marking “blc 10x80 No. 822 164458” (= Zeiss, Carl, Militärabteilung, Jena) and Kriegsmarine acceptance stamp. Rubber eyepiece guards, partially damaged. Focus adjustment functional, optics show spotting. Some markings were overpainted during the period. The sighting device and tripod mount have been removed, condition 2-.

The anti-aircraft binocular is an observation instrument. It serves for locating and identifying aerial targets.
