Long version, nickel-plated blade, maker “E. & F. Hörster Solingen”, the nickel plating of the hilt somewhat dulled, riveted grip scales, black lacquered scabbard retaining nearly 98% of original finish. Used, with minor age-related wear. Condition 2

Long blade with wide fullers, point slightly damaged, on the false edge the logo of a fire brigade equipment supplier, “L+E” with helmet and swastika, nickel-plated zinc hilt with S-shaped crossguard and checkered grip scales, the nickel plating worn away in places, the scabbard with approximately 75% of the lacquer remaining, with belt shoe, worn but still in good condition. Condition 2-

Clean and sharpened blade with manufacturer's mark of “E.uF.Hörster Solingen”, riveting slightly loose, nickel plating of the hilt somewhat worn, riveted synthetic grip scales, S-shaped crossguard, scabbard retaining approximately 80% of original paint, carried sidearm with normal age-related wear. Condition 2-

Long version, nickel-plated blade, manufacturer “E. & F. Hörster Solingen”, nickel plating of the hilt mostly worn away, riveted grip scales, black lacquered scabbard with areas of loss. Used condition with age-related wear. Condition 2-

This is a very fine example, circa 1930. The grip and scabbard fittings are nickel-plated. The grip is made of white synthetic material similar to the Reichsmarine pattern, with silver-plated wire wrap. Flame-shaped pommel, broad crossguard. Long bright blade with supplier marking “Deutsch. Offiz. Verein Berlin”. Black leather scabbard with nickel-plated fittings and suspension hook for belt frog. The throat and crossguard are both numbered “128” in matching stamps. Complete with original knotted portepee (sword knot). Overall length approximately 52 cm. The dagger shows light wear overall, in good untouched original condition. A fine piece.

Model with long blade, wide fuller with maker's mark "F.W.Höller Solingen". The nickel plating of the zinc pommel still very well preserved, intact grip scales. The scabbard retains nearly 100% of its original lacquer, worn piece with minor age traces, but otherwise very well preserved. Condition 2

Slightly curved blade with fullers, without discernible maker's mark, nickel-plated steel hilt with lion's head pommel, without glass eyes, black plastic grip with intact wire wrapping, scabbard repainted black, with attached police leader's sword knot (portepee), signs of age and use, quite good condition Grade 2-

Fairly well-preserved long blade without maker's mark, steel hilt with faded nickel plating, intact grip scale, scabbard with surface rust, otherwise well-preserved, Condition 2-

circa 1900. Bright blade with double fuller, without maker's mark, some spotting, black composition grip, fittings and scabbard mounts of nickel-plated brass, some light surface rust, the leather scabbard is in good condition. A rare edged weapon, light wear and age patina, otherwise still very well preserved. Condition 2-

Very well preserved blade, rare maker “E.u.F Hörster” in zinc hilt, the nickel plating somewhat faded, checkered plastic grip scales, S-shaped crossguard, the scabbard retaining approximately 95% of its lacquer, carried sidearm with minor signs of age. Condition 2

Long version, matted nickel plating on the blade and zinc hilt, maker's stamp on the ricasso “Horst Wolf GmbH, Leipzig. G 1”, riveted grip scales, the reverse side shows a stress crack, scabbard repainted. Worn with age-related wear. Condition 2-

Long wooden handle, 35cm. Bright blade, no maker’s mark, with black leather carrying case, case is stamped, used condition. Condition 2-

Somewhat stained short carbine blade, no maker mark, checkered plastic grip scales with stress cracks, S-shaped crossguard, scabbard cleanly repainted, throat screw missing, worn sidearm showing age. Condition 2-

Version with long blade, marked “Solingen” on the ricasso, steel hilt with S-shaped crossguard, nickel plating worn off, checkered grip scales, steel scabbard repainted black, with damaged belt loop, in poor condition, for restoration. Condition 3

Tool, not a presentation weapon, long wooden handle, bright blade, without manufacturer's marking, with black leather scabbard, used condition. Condition 2-

Rhomboid blade etched on both sides with maker's mark of “Carl Eickhorn Solingen” in double oval, blade showing light spotting, crossguard and pommel partially blackened in places, leather-wrapped grip with minor losses, wire wrapping present, leather scabbard with nickel fittings, throat piece with two suspension rings. A dagger with some signs of wear and age, but still collectible. Condition 2-

Version with long blade, wide fullers, very rare maker “H.&P. K”, nickel-plated zinc hilt with minor rust pitting, riveted grip scales, original push stud, scabbard with light surface rust. Worn piece with normal age-related wear. Condition 2-

Nickel-plated blade with rare maker “Rudolf Büchel Solingen-Merscheid”, nickel-plated steel hilt with S-shaped crossguard, checkered synthetic grip scales, black lacquered scabbard with only approximately 65% of lacquer remaining, otherwise well preserved. Condition 2

Very well preserved long blade without maker mark, checkered plastic grip scales, S-shaped crossguard, the scabbard is pitted and repainted, worn sidearm with clear signs of age. Condition 2-3

Model with long blade and wide fullers, maker's mark "Anton Wingen Jr. Solingen", frosted zinc hilt with s-shaped crossguard, riveted grip scales, scabbard retaining approximately 90% of original lacquer, normal age wear, otherwise well preserved. Condition 2-

Long version. Very clean blade without maker's mark, nickel-plated zinc hilt with checkered grip scales, reverse side with small crack, scabbard leather present, the scabbard retaining nearly 100% of its original paint finish, slight dent in the center, otherwise very well preserved. Condition 2
