Manufactured in solid gold, reverse with stamped award number 8078, and maker “RZM M1/77” Förster & Barth in Pforzheim, with long pin and safety catch. Accompanied by the award document with gold-embossed badge and entered award number 807, with original signature “Dr. R. Ley - Reich Organization Leader of the NSDAP and Leader of the German Labor Front”. Unfortunately the name of the recipient was redacted but is still legible “Bauer Herbert Heitmann”, the honor badge was pinned to the document.

Bronzed brass sheet, slightly domed and solid struck embossing (not a so-called “tin badge”), diameter 40 mm, reverse with pin attachment, bearing maker's mark: HUW, condition 2.
