Paratrooper Loyalty Chain of the 1st Parachute Division

As thanks for the rescue of the art treasures of the Monte Cassino monastery before it was bombed by the Americans, Abbot Gregorio Diamare presented the 1st Parachute Division with, among other things, a small silver donation. From this donation the loyalty chains were created.
Accompanied by a photocopy of an award certificate, with signature “Schulz, Oberst und Divisionsführer Div.-Gef.-Stand”.
