Prussian Pickelhaube for a Paymaster Sergeant
Circa 1910. Leather helmet, complete with all fittings in nickel-plated or nickel silver finish. Front plate featuring the line eagle with motto and pierced crown. Domed scale chin chains on rosettes, both cockades in officer's pattern. Non-removable spike, the base with ball-head screws. Interior with brown leather sweatband and beige silk rep lining, the rear visor lined in red and the front visor lined in green, inside the bell the owner's name “Thiel” and size “56” written by hand.
