Third Reich Hermann Göring: Personal Car Pennant as Reich Aviation Minister
Version 1933 - 1935. Square pennant made of red, color-printed cotton, obverse centrally featuring a white disc with the Weimar eagle in laurel wreath with suspended Pour le Mérite on stylized wings above four diagonal white rays widening toward the corners with swastikas and black border. Reverse with swastika in center and Weimar eagle in each of the 4 rays. Dimensions approximately 24 x 24 cm. Complete with internally sewn metal frame and remains of celluloid protective cover.
This pennant was used by Göring only during the period from 1933 to 1935. After his appointment as Commander-in-Chief of the Luftwaffe in February 1935, a new model was introduced.
