Spanish cross in gold with swords and diamonds, belonging to General Hellmuth Volkmann

This cross is a private purchased cross, made by the firm C.E. Juncker, Berlin, about 1939. Made in silver gilt. The medallion exists of a swastika with finely granulated background, with a silver wreath with 14 Simili stones. The backside with 2 vertical hollow rivets which the diamond wreath holds, stamped "900" silver about the manufacturer's hallmark "CEJ". Worn in good condition.
In total there were only 28 spanish crosses in Gold with diamonds awarded, most of them at the 6.6.1939 .
