German Reich Pickelhaube model 1900 for an officer in the East Asian Expeditionary Corps

ca. 1900 period. Leather helmet with green felt cover. Front-, neckvisor and lateral reinforcement in blackened leather. Complete with all fittings. The frontplate eagle for colonial officers, identical as for the tropical Helmets, flat chin scales, on the right side with the cockades of the German Empire. The spike for officers in the special design for tropical service with more ventilation holes an no star screws. The interior with the officers quality brown leather sweatband with its bright silk liner. Size approx. 55. Very good condition, only the neck visor has a small hole, probably made for a wall mount.
