Prussian Helmet for an Officer in the Kürassier-Regiment Königin (Pommersches) Nr. 2

Garrison Pasewalk, circa 1910. Elegant helmet in the final pattern. The helmet skull of lightweight nickel-plated sheet iron, complete with all fittings in gilt finish. Front plate with Prussian eagle with embossed bandeau “Hohenfriedberg 4 Juni 1745”. Domed gilt scale chin chains with cloverleaf designs, both cockades in the large pattern for cuirassier officers. Interior with light-colored sweatband and light beige silk grosgrain lining. The front visor lined with brown leather, the neck guard lined with soft fabric. Size approximately 54. Lightly worn, the skull with a thin scratch on the front right, the nickel plating with small pinpoint blemishes in places. Condition 2.

Hessen-Darmstadt World War I Pickelhaube for an Officer of Feldartillerie-Regiment Nr. 25

Home garrison Darmstadt, the helmet in the wearing style after April 6, 1915. Elegant leather helmet of finest peacetime quality, complete with all fittings in gilt finish. The helmet plate of finest quality with “frost” gilding and polished edges, surmounted by the silver high-domed star with crossed swords, the center finely enameled with the motto “Gott Ehre Vaterland” (God Honor Fatherland). Cross-shaped front plate and neck guard with ball rivets, domed scale chin chains on rosettes, on the right the Reich cockade, on the left the special Hessian cockade. Interior with brown leather sweatband and green silk grosgrain lining, the front visor lined in green and the neck guard in red. Size approximately 55. Condition 2+.

An extremely rare, untouched and very beautifully preserved helmet!

On the occasion of the 125th anniversary, Feldartillerie-Regiment Nr. 25 received on April 6, 1915 from the Grand Duke of Hessen the star and crossed swords as helmet device. However, this helmet was worn only by officers.

In 40 years, this is only the 2nd helmet of this type we have been able to offer!

Württemberg Pickelhaube for Generals

Circa 1910. Elegant leather helmet, complete with all fittings in gilt finish. The helmet plate “frost” gilded with polished edges, surmounted by the applied star of the Württemberg Crown, the center finely enameled. Crossguard fitting with elegant fluted spike, domed scale chin chains with both cockades. Interior with light brown sweatband and grosgrain lining, handwritten size “54 1/4” and a name inside the bell, front visor lined in green on the interior, rear visor in red. Only lightly worn. Condition 2.

Preußen Helm für einen Offizier der Linien-Kürassier Regimenter in Luxusqualität

Um 1900. Elegante, besonders leichte Helmglocke aus Eisenblech vernickelt, komplett mit allen Beschlägen in vergoldeter Ausführung, die Randeinfassungen in Tombak. Vorne der Linienadler, fein vergoldet. Gewölbte Schuppenketten mit Kleeblättern und Rändelschrauben, intakter Lederkinnriemen. Komplett mit beiden Kokarden in der großen Ausführung. Vergoldetes Kreuzblatt mit Kugelschrauben, hohe gekehlte vernickelte Spitze. Innen mit braunem Lederschweißband und beigem Seidenripsfutter, der Vorderschirm mit braunem Leder gefüttert, der Nackenschirm mit weißem Samt. Größe ca. 58. Nur leichte Tragespuren. Zustand 2.
