Chamber piece, circa 1943. Manufactured from sand-colored cloth, complete with all insignia. Cap eagle and cap soutache in Bevo-woven construction of sand-colored cloth, hand-sewn, with intact leather chin strap. Interior with red lining, chamber stamp "RB-Nr. 0/0250/2570", size 56 1/2. Used condition.

Wehrmacht Afrikakorps Tropical Field Cap M 41 for Mountain Troops Officers

Veteran's piece carried in combat circa 1941. Manufactured from light cotton twill, complete with Bevo-woven insignia in tropical pattern, front with green soutache angle. Two ventilation grommets on each side and the Edelweiss of the Mountain Troops, hand-sewn. Circumferential silver cord for officers, red lining inside, maker's stamp “U.Dehecke Burdorf/Hann 1941”, size 58. Heavily worn, the field cap is severely faded from 3 years of wear in Africa, stitching on the cockade is partially loose, piping severely faded, condition 2-3.
